This CALIPRI C42 module enables precise detection of ovality, eccentricity, and lateral runouts in rail vehicle wheels. Using the CALIPRI sensor, users capture the radial and axial relative movements of the wheel profile during rotation, allowing for accurate assessment of diameter changes across the wheel.
After measurement, data is evaluated on the tablet, with results available for export as a CSV file. Beyond comparing measurements to reference values, the module’s spectrum presentation offers deeper insights, helping to detect any polygonization in the wheel for thorough analysis.
